1. Beautiful owlet. I will always say that.

   

2. Owlet is great, may be longing for a huddle. Youngest always stares at the big round eye (cam)

   

3. Lone owlet in the box, safe n sound. Too cute.

   

4. Owlet wants back up the tree.GREAT panning, feisty little one was running, great keeping up.

   

5. I do not live near the cam. They are not getting this storm. If it rains their I hope it’s gentle.

7. Suspect Luna, lands on the same branch. Owlet is there but hard to see.
   WHen the leaves blow it was easy to get a look.

   Got my photos fixed and now a storm is upon us and need to shut down. Promise, more to come soon as possible.

   What a day!!!

8. See blue circle, there’s owlet number two. Wow, right.

   

9. Same time, same feeding from a different cam view. Beautiful.

   Each adult visit the owlets got more excited and it was minutes after this visit that #2 flew.

    Suspect Luna with mid and youngest.

    

11. Youngest sits alone but not forgotten, Luna visits with grubs.

    I had a hiccup with photos and will work to get the photos documented. All apologies on such a special day.

13. It’s a leap of faith, No turning back. Brilliant!

    

14. Youngest is left solo in the nest box. Perched and ate well this morning.

    

15. Second fledge of the day, what a day! One hops to the tree, one flies off and much more to share soon.

    

16. Owlet walks up to tree and hops up. More photos to come.

    

17. What a start to their morning. This is owlet #2 atop nestbox.

    

18. Update with photos to come:

    This morning about 6:09am oldest owlet hops atop the nest box and them hops onto the tree trunk and disappeared.

    This morning about 7:47am youngest perches.

    Luna visits many times. The newly added perching pole has really come in handy for the adults. Two owlets fill the entrance completely and the perch area gets crowded.

19. The young barred owls of NY, there lives are changing fast and their world is getting a whole lot bigger. More to come.

    Meanwhile, the thing I enjoyed most about this is owlet took a couple small steps outward.
