Took a few times to get prey lined up. I don’t ever see any one take food from another, they are so gentle to each other.
Young owlet had missed out on many opportunities to eat today. Talk about jaw dropping, Luna/adult entered the box to feed the youngest, since the other two stayed close to the prime spot. Beak to beak delivery of a moth and I believe the youngest is seen eating a frog/
Food drop. Many, many today.
Can it be, practicing how to find worms, grubs and larvae.
Suspect night crawler food drop. Stunning adult and owlets eyes are too cute.
Quite a few food drops today, suspect larvae/grub drops. Also, a caterpillar.
One down and one more to go.
Incoming owlet as nighttime approaches.
Here they sit perched as youngest looks up. Close to nap time, incoming owlet.
Youngest owlet was watching them, but was tired after a long day.
Next, nighttime is coming.
Today’s pick as my favorite photo of the day. Simply beautiful. Sometimes an image stands out and this is it for today.
Now that is the new prime spot. Adult on right, owlet on left.
Siblings watch.
3 of 3. Cute owlet flapping wings.
2 of 3. Notice adult on the right, owlet on left.
The next group of three are from earlier. 1 of 3.
Incoming adult, the second arrow is where he/she was perched.
Arrow points to adult in the tree, he/she went to the ground twice, hunting.
A great life lesson for sure.
Adults have their work cut out for them, two owlets perched, it’s almost that time.
Breathtaking. To see that Luna flew in and reacted to her owlet being outside the box.
These will be randomly selected and some are out of order.
test new app. So this is more like it.
Look at those owlets. They were peaking over and flapping wings.

Cute. A lot of excitement today.
What a day. Great happenings today. Starting with the most current photo, only because they are finally asleep. Pretty much all day they were awake.
Food drops, perching, stretching, hopping, they have had a long day.
Many photos to search and post. I hope to get to them all tonight.
