1. Owlet using its wings to guide itself back inside the comfy, cozy and safe nest box. I am still jaw dropped. Awesome.

   

2. Owlet reaches a major milestone, perched. Luna had just left and the owlet was soon to follow her lead. Adventure lasted a few minutes and then owlet turns and drops itself back into the nest box.

   

3. Morsels of food leftover and then preening.

   

4. Then adult arrives. Owlets are quiet and still.

   

5. Owlets will surely be able to see outside when standing upright.

   

6. There it went. Oldest owlet swallows the remains of mouse. I still want to catch the youngest swallow a mouse. All in time, but they are having another great morning. Life is good.

   

7. Stunning. Center owlet is self feeding itself. It was a mouse, which was eventually swallowed. See prey in talons.

   

8. Fantastic, how many times can one say it? Many times.

   Seeing now that the large prey from the corner seen yesterday evening is gone. Adult entered the nest box and everyone ate very well again. I will post these feeding photos later today and catch up.

   

9. Mystery solved. Owlet was showing interest in prey.

   

10. Excellent idea. Owlets have grown so much, when they take the prime spot, they block the cam.

    This is great to use the other cam. It has been offline so Big Thanks getting it going for us,

13. Barking, sometimes it seems dog knows the adults are near. Let’s see.

    Speaking of seeing, may be adjusting cam, owlets will move… Good luck.

15. At 8:00pm owlet in back grabs a cached mouse, trying to get it down. Then, owlet in prime spot jumps up and attempts to get outside. surely seemed owlet was on a mission.

16. Owlets are enjoying the view anyway. Probably tippy toeing to see outside.

    

17. Best way to stay cool. Lay flat and don’t move much, fluff the feathers every now and then… but this is subject to change at any moment with the owlets.

    

18. Don’t blink, owlets react to Luna, when in the time it took to upload photo, the energy shifts.

    One pants, one moves to protective mode, showing a fierce open mouth, defender of the nest box.

    They stare up towards the other cam area a lot.

    

19. Whistle calls from outside, Luna is close. The owlets peak upwards but nothing else, time for rest.

    

20. The owlets are gaining in balance and getting good height during stretches. Bobbing and weaving their heads, picking up mulch with their beaks and feet. Nice.

    

21. Getting good rest in the wee hours this morning.

    

22. Currently 66° heading for 84° in the nest box area. Humidity is dropping, should be another wonderful weather day.

    Owlets are energized and playful.

23. Feather lashes and a good view of owlets foot and talons.

    

24. 2 of 2. Too cute. Didn’t want to let it go by. Owlets were thinking outside the box, since Luna had recently flew out.
