Luna and Noche provide a large space for their owlets, but it seems the instinct is to huddle because tree trunks aren’t so spacious, still a great nest for them! Cute owlets.still very distinct facial features.

Owlet has a mouse, trying to swallow, but pecking and carrying it.
At 6:39am two owlets are in the corner chewing. May be self feeding and sharing or playing with a piece of bark.no clear photos yet, too much moving around.
Sleepy owlets and visible prey are always good.
Cute owlets, one sleeps upright. So far, so good. I missed tonight’s feeding but Luna has been visiting around 8am and I will try to catch live action then.

Owlets are 20, 19 and 18 days hatched today. They are growing wonderfully.

Luna is back inside the nest box. Will mention the blue jays are nearby and loud. This happened earlier this morning and it’s really worth mentioning. Seems the jays are aware of Luna’s presence and they seem to harass her.

Luna was perched until just after 9:30am. She may have left or moved her tail out of view. But it’s been another fantastic morning.

Beautiful Luna finds a mouse and offers it to the owlets. I didn’t see any takers. Wonderful to see they are so well fed. Maybe Luna can eat more now, she’s gotten thin, but that is normal and expected.
