1. Luna left at 8:04pm three eggs look good, no worries, one is behind her leg. Tried to get a photo of her brood patch.

   

2. Luna’s eyes are closed, but she’s listening, it’s that time of night!

   

3. About 9:10pm Luna flew off again. Then returned shortly. I missed her return, didn’t see if she had prey.

4. Noche had a quick visit just after 8pm. He was in and out so fast, Luna gave no signs that she received a food drop.

   A few evenings ago Noche visited 3 times before he brought her a food drop. Seems he may be coaxing her to follow him.

   Also her outings have been later and his visits are also later, by about half an hour. She is surely listening for him.

   Luna just rolled eggs and shimmies herself in a comfy spot.

5. Luna went to perch, time for her outing.

   

6. Squirrel? Luna is not happy with the visitor outside.

7. Heavy rain, Luna and her eggs are dry.

8. Color cam catching Luna’s interesting feather patterns. Looks like a rainy afternoon ahead.

   egg #1 is at 16 days
   egg #2 is at 13 days
   egg #3 is at 10 days

   

9. Noche arrived with a frog and Luna quickly ate it. He too is a little later than usual.

   

10. She’s back. Now when will Noche deliver?!!!

11. Usually between 7-8pm she leaves for about ten minutes. Lately, she’s been gone and back by now.

    While comment uploaded she left! Didn’t get the time.

12. Luna is later than usual getting her outing tonight.

13. New cam view, she’s looking at the camera with curiosity. A quiet morning in the nest box.

    

14. Curious Luna, what do you hear and see?

    

15. Food drop. She gladly ate too. Nice view!

    

16. Noche may arrive soon.

17. It is not a mouse blocking anything, seems she’s moved it or had eaten it. Surprise!

    

18. She’s back at 7:33pm.

19. As if on cue! Good for Luna. The lighting is pretty but she needs to get that mouse out of the way! Hope that is all that it is…

    

20. Did Luna put the mouse partially in front of the IR cam? It looks like it. She may leave soon for her short outing.

    

21. Eyeballing up the mouse, before she moved it.

    

22. About 2:40pm Luna moved the mouse towards the IR cam. It’s there and out of view.

23. Luna after eating a light lunch, saving the rest for later.

    

24. Luna pulled prey from her cache. She enjoyed a nice meal.
    She didn’t finish it, but moved it to the upper right corner.

    Noting that she is caching prey, not eating each food drop shows
    that she herself is well fed and able to save for later.

    

25. Luna’s first egg is Two weeks old today, nearly half way to hatch watch already. A gentle morning for her, caring for her eggs.
