1. 8:46am Luna hoots, who cooks for you?

2. A cloudy looking view until about 6:24am. Luna was up against the cam stretching up and peaking outside. Since then, she’s gone back to the eggs.

3. Interesting feather pattern. She’s peaking occasionally one eye opens. A mouse in her belly, she’s looking content.

   

4. Noche’s 3rd visit tonight, he delivers a mouse. Luna enjoyed it very much.

   

5. Noche visits again just after 8:30pm I don’t see food drops happening. Is she caching it or is he coaxing her out?

   Water droplets are shining on Luna’s back.

6. Noche visited about 8:05pm. I didn’t see a food drop and after he left Luna followed.

7. She returned after a short outing. Noche was just in the nest box n out so fast. About 8:05pm

8. She’s out enjoying a good stretch for sure! Three eggs.

   

9. She’s peaking, one eye.

10. Pretty Luna. A very restful day. As night approaches though, she’s usually ready for her outing about this time.

    

11. Noche has entered the nest box the last 4 nights delivering prey.
    April 3rd,4th,5th and 6th. Approximate hours 8:00pm-10:00pm.

    Luna has flown off fairly regularly around 7-8pm to relieve herself and maybe get a drink at the stream.

    They are definitely full swing into this nesting season!

    Luna is so watchful and keeps her eggs nicely warm.
    Noche is a committed and steady provider. He is a very willing partner and he seems glad to bring food for her. Glad to be with her.

    The pair do genuinely appear to enjoy being together. Noche made clucking sounds when delivering food. A gentle tone for his Luna.

12. He’s back. Twice now… Luna has a new call. Ah-ah-ah scree!!! Food drop looked furry.

    

13. Added photo for fun. Luna was gone about ten minutes. The shaving on her nose, I mean on her beak…. Is funny.

    

14. Luna was hooting, possibly for Noche at 7:15pm. I didn’t hear him outside but she left about 7:35ish.pm.

15. Ah Luna. Tail in the air towards the camera. Pretty feathers, lol.

    

16. Quiet day so far. Last night she flew off and I saw her three wonderful eggs… after today, it will be safe to say egg watch is over and we anticipate 3 owlets.

    This should be interesting. Last season Sol being the lone owlet, the parents will have there work cut out for them.

    Here’s hoping the owlets like to eat frog! Luna wasn’t happy with his choice of prey (again.) She does seem to prefer voles/mouse over frog. Noche may favor hunting and eating frog? Watching Luna sit still with frogs in her beak and not eating them is too funny.

    

17. He brought her another frog and she’s holding it. Screen stuck missed live action. She’s not interested in eating frog!

19. She’s laying on the frog. Last year she didn’t seem too eager to eat them either, unless she’s really hungry…

    

20. Yes. Frog! But, she didn’t want to eat it.

    

21. AFK today, no info to add. Noche visits tonight, he’s soaked… Which means “frog”.

    

22. Luna eats prey. A frog and then a suspect mouse!

    

23. Noche came back , this time with a mouse and she eats it quickly. Fantastic!

24. Noche brought Luna a frog. She ate it so fast this is the only photo I was able to get! He was in and gone quick! Alright!

    

25. She returned fluffy and excited, she seems to really enjoy her time outside and her time with Noche, although I do not know if he is close.
