   Luna hooted, twice and gave a different view.

12. Pip/hatch watch. Egg #1 is now 30 days old.

16. Great camera angle. If Luna cooperates, maybe we’ll see an egg with a pip. Love the beautiful loose starburst feather. Wonderful sounds of the Tufted Titmouse in the background.

    

17. 2:17am food drop. Either she ate it very quickly or prey is still in the nest. She didn’t move far off the eggs to give us a look.

18. Photo I have shows Luna eating prey with a leg n fur visible.

    She is looking out still, one eyed. So devoted but appears to miss free flight.

    Great pics, I had a feeling we were all clicking away, true!

    I know what you mean about the chirps. I don’t think the chirps were loud enough to activate the recorder is all.

    What a fantastic day for the barred owls and for us observing!

25. Noche was nice and brought a bat for dinner. Luna didn’t eat it right away. Maybe she is saving it for her owelets 🙂
