1. Visitor to the nest box. Awesome to watch the concern on Luna’s face and see why and who was causing it.

   

2. Fran,
   A couple times when she had been staring, she chewed the cam! Hope she decided its not tasty nor a concern!

3. Sarah, that is so sweet. I looked at her and thought, no I’ve got to go… to have that moment is great!

5. Quick head movement and wide eyes. Different expression here. She looks almost like she wants to take off.

11. Small bird visits the nest box. Great to have two views! Heard it land. Saw it hop onto the tree, then nest box. Peaks in at Luna. See green circle.

    Luna gave several whistle/squeals.

    Andrew mentioned that Luna may be whistling to let others know she is there and this makes perfect sense.

    Second cam view is amazing!

    Luna has been out and in at least twice this evening.

    Saw 4 deer under the nest box, Luna was really listening.

    8:10pm photo captured her Extreme Footage! These owls have strong feet wow.

    Another Fantastic day for the barred owl nest box. Luna and eggs. I may miss Noche but I will return early tomorrow.

    After Luna reentered the nest box, she checked her eggs n shimmied, covered them.

22. 7:45pm Wonder, can Luna hear the deer below her? There are four white tail deer just below the nest box. She seems to be listening.
