  1. Evening food drop. Between the two of them, he hoots and calls out his arrival and she coos almost constantly.

  3. Two food drops, both mice. She ate one and saved one.

    Unless her downy feather covered the egg from view, she had her egg #3 between
    12:25ishAM and 3:10AM

  4. At 12:21am, two pretty eggs and she just flew off.

    Stood up, left the nest box very quiet and quick.

  5. Two wonderful eggs, first 3/15, second on 3/18.

    If she is to have a third, may be tomorrow… 3 days apart.

  6. A beautiful day for the Barred’s and into the evening, it’s quiet.
    She’s peaking one eye, both eyes, and listening for her Noche to deliver a food drop.

    She had left the perch 11:23pm, back at 11:48pm and
    then she finally ate the mouse.

    An exciting day ends as she now has her second egg.

    He exits and she sat motionless for a good minute before laying down the mouse for later.
    After laying an egg, perhaps she wanted vole.

    Reminds me when he brought her a frog and she didn’t want it.
    She held it, laid it down and eventually flew off with it in her beak.

  9. Luna is visited by her Noche. He brings her a mouse, but she wasn’t interested in eating it.

  10. Still one egg, day 3, Egg Watch for #2

    Preening rotating and mindful of her footing.
    She’s so beautiful.

  11. Content after eating and begins to rebuild her energies as we get a peak at the egg.

  12. Eating her first big meal after the egg arrived, she pecked at prey for 15 minutes
    and after 3 tries she managed to get it down.

  13. Exciting news! Egg arrives. Now I need assistance for the arrival time, since I missed it.

    She stood at 6:58am, my first sighting but missed a photo at the time,

  14. Wonderful news! EGG WATCH for 2017 is here!

    She was in the box last night, but unsure if she stayed inside all night.
    She was laying then she perched around 9pm last night.

  15. She was in the box early this morning, after her leaving color cam shows feathers scattered around.

  16. 2017 season of the Barred Owls has begun.
